Quality Raw Materials
Ensuring quality wire and steel products are purchased is of paramount importance. We have an established core of trusted suppliers who we have visited and audited to ensure we get consistent high quality raw materials.
Testing
We have our own in-house testing facilities for wire and steel pre-production and for testing products post production. We randomly test existing supplier’s product, on a regular basis. Any new supplier’s products are rigorously tested before being accepted for general production use.
FIRA Gold
In June 2016 Wade Spring were awarded FIRA Gold for their Zig Zag Furniture Springs, the first Furniture Spring Manufacturer to achieve this quality mark.
Testing included passing a 200,000 severe contract cycle test complying
with BS:EN 16139:2013. FIRA Gold Certification is the recognised quality mark for products or installation services within the Furniture and Kitchen Industries.
